Join us for a Community Vigil to mark the one-year remembrance of the October 7 Tragedy. Programming will include prayer, reflection, and space for us to hold our collective grief.

Soup-Coats for Sukkot

Warm up your heart and stomach by joining us for a heartwarming afternoon of giving back! Gather as a community, all ages and stages of life, to share a cozy soup lunch while making a difference for those in need.

 

We’re collecting NEW winter coats, socks, hats, and gloves in infant and child sizes, as well as new or gently used items for adults. Your donations will help support Susie's Coats for Kids, the Jewish Senior, Family & Social Services (JSFSS) Food Pantry, and Burrito Blessings, three amazing organizations that provide warmth and care to those in need.

 

Bring your generosity, appetite, and commitment to making a difference. Together, we can spread warmth and kindness throughout the season!

Israel National Day of Remembrance

Join us on the Israeli National Day of Remembrance for October 7 in welcoming the National Library of Israel as they discuss their Bearing Witness Initiative documenting our collective responses to October 7 and how its memory will be passed on through the generations.

  • JFGT honored with Excellence in Organizational Operations Award

    Jewish Federation of Greater Toledo (JFGT) received the Excellence in Organizational Operations Award from the Greater Toledo Community Foundation at its 2023 Northwest Ohio Nonprofit Excellence Awards in late October. The annual event was sponsored by The Andersons, The Blade, Greater Toledo Community Foundation, and The Center for Nonprofit Resources and includes $8,500 in unrestricted grant funds to support JFGT's mission.
