For more than 40 years the Hebrew Academy doors have been open to all children within the Toledo Jewish community. Children of other faiths who have elected to experience the excellence that the Academy has to offer have always been welcome.
The Academy’s all day kindergarten program and outstanding elementary education prepares children for success in middle school, high school, college and life. Academy students as a whole have consistently scored in the 95th percentile on standardized academic tests.
As a “community day school,” the Academy is not directly affiliated with any of the mainstream Jewish movements. Rather, the Academy endeavors to represent the entire spectrum of Jewish life in an atmosphere that validates each child’s individual Jewish experience.
Offering an outstanding college preparatory secular education combined with 5768 years of Jewish heritage and tradition and serving students in grades K-5 from throughout the Toledo Jewish community, the Stone Hebrew Academy is consistently recognized as one of the finest community Jewish day schools in the nation.
More than 50 percent of Hebrew Academy students receive scholarships based on financial need and many Hebrew Academy graduates are the recipients of honors and scholarships in our public and private high schools.
