Student initiates group art project to bring cheer to young Ukrainian refugees
 

Allison Sachs, 16-year-old and sophomore at Notre Dame Academy in Toledo, recently organized an art creation and letter-writing project for Ukrainian refugees and enlisted her former elementary and middle school, West Side Montessori, to assist. The goal, she explained, was to provide cheer and encouraging messages during these dark and uncertain times of war.

In a “thank you” video (click here to view) sent to Allison, Mirit explained that the students received the letters, drawings, and paintings.
