AAPI Heritage Month – Pan Asian Celebration

Join Jewish Federation of Greater Toledo staff members Sherry Majewski, Hannah Loeser, and Mary Bilyeu and celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month. AAPI Heritage Month has very special significance for these three ladies - Hannah’s mom immigrated from China, Sherry adopted all eight of her daughters from China, and Mary’s daughter-in-law was born and raised in the Philippines.

This fun and festive program will include a brief history of Jewish experiences in Asia, information about loved ones and their Asian heritages, and – of course! – a delicious Pan-Asian lunch and treats. Hannah’s mom, Demi, will also teach us how to make vegetarian dumplings to cook at home.
