Miri Eisin, a senior fellow at the International Institute for Counterterrorism (ICT) at Reichman University in Herzliya, Israel. Miri has a deep background in the intelligence, security, and diplomacy worlds and is a frequent commentator on these issues in world media. During her 20 years in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), she served in a variety of positions, including the intelligence officer of a regional border brigade, the intel officer of the Israeli airborne division, and the assistant to the Director of Military Intelligence. As a full colonel she served as the Deputy Head of the Combat Intelligence Corps. In all her positions she was the first woman to serve in such a capacity.
