Is it about us or them? Changing regimes and evolving Israeli society. A deep dive into the schisms in Israeli society and to the regional alliances. Featuring guest speaker: Ms. Col. (Ret.) Miri Eisin, a senior fellow at the International Institute for Counterterrorism (ICT) at Reichman University in Herzliya, Israel. Retired Colonel Miri Eisin is a senior fellow at the International Institute for Counterterrorism (ICT) at Reichman University in Herzliya, Israel. Miri has a deep background in the intelligence, security and diplomacy worlds and is a frequent commentator on these issues in world media. During her 20 years in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), she served in a variety of positions in Israeli military intelligence. In all her positions she was the first woman to serve in such a capacity.
After retiring from the military, Eisin served as the Israeli government spokesperson during the Second Lebanon War in 2006, and as the PM’S international press secretary. Miri is a founding member of the Deborah Forum, women in national security; Cyberwell to combat online antisemitism; Alma a research center in the Galilee, and is the Chair of the board of the Taub Center for social policy studies in Israel.
