Create your own lasting legacy

Meeting the philanthropic needs of the Jewish community

Toledo Jewish Community Foundation, founded in 1980 as the endowment development program of Jewish Federation of Greater Toledo, was established to meet the philanthropic challenges and needs of the Toledo Jewish community as well as the needs of our people locally, nationally, and globally. Foundation provides an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy – a permanent imprint that will enrich the lives of generations to come.

Since its inception, the Foundation has helped individuals and families alike create a legacy that represents the values and mitzvot by which they have governed their lives.

Year-End Tax Planning

The year's end comes up quickly. There are a few gifting options that may be advantageous to you. This may be the ideal time to establish a Philanthropic (Donor Advised) Fund or add to the fund that you already have. Consider “bunching” itemized deductions and create a Philanthropic Fund with a minimum gift of $2,000.

Click here for an overview on year-end tax planning. Check with your advisor to see if any of the aforementioned strategies work for you.

The Perpetual Annual Campaign Endowment (PACE)

  • Extend your commitment.
  • Inspire the next generation and generations after that.

  • Your gift can make a difference.

Perpetual Annual Campaign Endowment (PACE) is a permanent fund dedicated to endowing your gift to the Jewish community through the Jewish Federation of Greater Toledo. A PACE fund is not intended to take the place of any part of an annual gift; it is instead a lasting legacy that will continue to make an annual gift to the campaign in perpetuity on your behalf.
