Adam Grant Centennial is a solo exhibit celebrating the 100th anniversary of this world-class, Toledo artist's work from the Grant family private collection. Born in Warwaw, Poland in 1924, Adam (Grochowski) Grant (z"l) was a survivor of the Nazi concentration camps Auschwitz and Mauthausen, where he used his art to defy his captors - and live. After the liberation, Adam became a naturalized citizen of the United States and moved to Toledo where he lived and painted until his death in 1992.
