Federation and Foundation offices temporarily closed due to COVID-19
Federation and Foundation offices are closed temporarily in response to the COVID-19 situation. The JCC/YMCA building is closed, as well as the Sekach Building. We do not know yet when these physical locations will reopen, but we want to assure that the important work of the Federation and Foundation is continuing outside our physical space.
Your Federation and Foundation professionals, including our staff at Jewish Family Service, Jewish Living Center, PJ Library, Next Jewish Generation, BBYO, Gan Yeladim Preschool, Jewish Community Relations Council, Hillel, and our Campaign, Foundation and marketing staff are staying in touch with constituents and continuing operations that can be continued. In good times and bad, the Federation and Foundation are there for the community. In this period of extreme dislocation and separation, we anticipate the needs will be particularly acute. If you have needs that you believe we can help you manage, please contact us. As the central address for many of our Jewish institutions, we will do our best to assist you or make contacts at our congregations. Our community is strong and is led by outstanding professionals and lay people. We can and will continue to meet needs.
We are providing lots of virtual programming for all age groups. Please click here for more information and fun and educational activities that you can enjoy while at home.
Caring in the age of the Coronavirus
As we move through the days and possibly weeks ahead, Federation is implementing a system for any member of the community to receive or volunteer a helping hand.
Whether you need a delivery of food or supplies, would appreciate a weekly (or daily) check-in call, or might enjoy a "virtual friendly visit", we have community volunteers who are able and ready to help. We can also contact our local congregations on your behalf if you want to speak with clergy or we can arrange a conversation with a community social worker. If you don't need help but are willing and able to volunteer to help someone else, we need you, too! Let's stay healthy and safe together.
